As we come out of Level Five lock down this week we would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last six weeks,

Also, we must say a big THANK YOU to the local community of Tinahely who have pulled out all the stops this year with the Christmas lights and decorations, The village and the surrounding area look amazing, and this brings so much cheer and happiness to the place.

Our Farm Shop has been very busy and we have just launched our own Online Shop . Please do check it out if you can.  Again, another word of thanks is due to the Wicklow Enterprise Board for helping us make this happen.

Well there is lots of cheer in the shop and its looking amazing and we are so happy to be opening the doors to full swing later this week, well on Friday. We have decided to have a small but very tasteful Menu from now until Christmas in the Restaurant. We will have our Breakfast menu, Soup & Farm rolls and then our Boards that we are famous for – smoked Trout Pate with warm crusty bread, our Salmon Board and a Vegetarian option too.

It is all about giving something this year which is usable and useful. Our Hampers are flying out the door packed with wonderful Artisan products from the Farm Shop as well as local and Irish products – something for everyone! If you cannot visit to buy one please order from our Online Shop and have it delivered to you!

Rebecca’s China is a big hit and the response to my new range is wonderful. Thank you to all who have bought pieces so far. This year we have added to the Holly range, small pudding bowls, butter dishes and Sugar / Jam pots.

If you haven’t already checked out www.neighbourfood.ie/tinahely we now host this wonderful online farmers market for the Tinahely area. There are over 22 producers selling over 890 products, and you can check this out in the comfort of your own home. Click online and pay and collect every Thursday evening here in the Farm Shop where you will also get a complementary cup of tea or coffee and now with the new slightly more relaxed restrictions you will be able to enjoy it beside the Aga!

Don’t forget to order our homemade mince pies. The are selling like hot cakes (literally) already!

Finally, I want to thank all of you who have supported us during the last lock down with your concern and kindness. You were all amazing and it helped to keep our spirits high in spite of everything.

Have a good lead up to Christmas and remember Christmas is all about being there for someone and sometimes it is a pot of Jam, or our wonderful Chutney, that will light up someone’s face, just by giving a small token that says “We care”.

I will post more news again before Santa arrives.

All The Best from everyone at Tinahely Farm Shop.

Rebecca
