Rebecca Allen on her love of painted China It started out of a hobby at a local China painting group here in Tinahely run by Pat, who inspired me in so many ways! My hobby grew and I bought myself a small Kiln. We would sit at my kitchen table and paint away where my three small children would eat their tea in the evenings. My Grandmother always drank her cup of tea from a china cup, and she would show me wonderful designs and beautiful painted flowers. One day whilst having a cuppa with a friend I was encouraged to share my designs – and that’s how Rebecca’s China started. I only sell what i love and I love painting bone china. I hope that my China pieces bring you as much pleasure as I got from designing them. Enjoy! Rebecca
