Welcome to all who have joined up on our web site, we hope that some of you have enjoyed your cup of coffee on the shop already.
This month at the shop we have expanded our range of products, which is wonderful for all… And we are offering you the chance to taste some of these products too.
During September we are promoting our breakfast pack, Kilbeggan Organic porridge, Joe Nealon’s honey from his Tinahely bees, and Ballybrado crunchy spelt Muesli. The breakfast pack is offered at a reduced rate of €11.00 which is a saving of over €1.50.
We have expanded our range of cheese in the shop, from Gubbeen, Bellingham blue, Killeen goats cheese to Monchago from Spain and two English cheeses which are making a great hit in the area as are Shropshire Blue and Red Leicester.
For the last week we have been delighted to be able to offer you, the customer a new range of coffee… We have just bought a coffee machine so now we are able to make an espresso, cappuccinos etc…
Our loyalty card for our veg boxes seems to be proving a great success, when you buy a veg box you get your card stamped and when you have bought ten boxes you get your eleventh free on the shop.
The Curios & Antique section in the shop has been gathering a lot of interest and there is a quick turn around with the vintage china, nearly from day to day it changes. It’s great fun and even better when you bag a bargain for yourself and head off home with something nice.
Darina Allen of Ballymaloe Cookery School paid us a visit last week, you can see a picture of Darina and Philip on our web site and she was delighted with the shop and full of compliments and thanks to Darina we are allowed to give out a recipe from her book “Forgotten Skills”, which you will find in your veg box.
Finally Thank you all so much for all who voted for our shop in the Irish Times “Best Shops In Ireland” we are so delighted to be voted into the top 50 – Philip and I are really over the moon… But we wont be taking the foot off the pedal – we really want to keep on improving! Until our next newsletter, do pop in and say “hello” or just meet up with a friend for a cup of tea in a china cup.
