Wow, our Farm Shop is looking all festive for Christmas this month, full of reds and golds…. it’s wonderful to see colours and hear the little jingle from the bells hanging in the shop.
We are now stocking a wide range of wonderful toys and beautiful little “things” that put a smile on your face and you say to yourself, “I had one of those as a child”…. something like a Spinning Top, Top and Tail Cards, Dress The Dolly, Vintage Snakes & Ladders, Ludo and even a game of Rounders…. it’s great to see and the fun part about it all is they are not over priced…and they have been tested by our children Hannah, Harry and Archie…
We have been using old fashioned glass milk bottles on our tables to serve milk and they are now available for sale in the shop and they are flying off the shelf.
We had a sale on our vintage corner and there are some items still left like China, Delph, and bric-a-brac half price – all can be found outside in the shed beside the shop – well worth a look…
Darina Allen is coming to visit in December and we are looking forward to having her here at the shop, so if you are around on December the 14th in the afternoon please come and meet Darina and if you have a book of hers I’m sure she will sign it for you, but keep an eye out on our Events Page to check the exact time of her arrival.
Santa has given Mrs. Clause the day off and she is coming to visit s at the Farm Shop on December the 15th and we cant wait to meet her, she will tell stories to the children, make reindeer food with them and also give them a little treasure to bring home to remind them of their visit to the Tinahely Farm Shop, you need to book in for this so please look at our Events Page to check out times.
We are doing a special on Kilbeggan Porridge and local honey from Joe Nealon’s bees, the winter is sneaking in and it’s getting cold and what more would you like only a bowl of organic porridge drizzled with Tinahely honey for only 6 Euro….. That’s a bargain.
See you all soon, come and have a cup of tea out of a china cup and sit back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the Tinahely Farm Shop… Bye for now!
