Hello there and Happy New Year to you all….Its been far too long since I sat down and wrote a blog to tell you all that has been happening at the Farm Shop, but here I am and this is my New Years resolution!!!

It has been a busy few months with lots of different and exciting people visiting us….

At Halloween Mabel the witch called in to visit us and told us wonderful stories about Mary McGoo from Donegal……she got the bus to Donegal herself and she hopes to come back down to Wicklow next Halloween.

Then we had Mrs. Claus, Trixie the Elf and the beautiful snow Queen herself and again the kids were entertained, it was wonderful to hear all the stories about Santa and Mrs. Claus headed home to look after Santa.

Rachel Allen, the Famous TV chef and Author called into the shop in December to do signings on her new book Coastal, we had  a wonderful afternoon with her and entertained us…. She is such a lovely bubbly person and she enjoyed her visit to the Farm Shop, hopefully we will see more of her in Tinahely farm shop during 2016.

The New Year has just started here in the shop, we are full of fresh ideas and have more classes on.

Heike is back teaching people how to make the most wonderful baskets, the first class kicks off on the 27th of February if you would like to do a class please check the events page on the web site.

Debbie is here on March 5th teaching doll making and this is a new class, we had one in early December and the most wonderful dolls were creative, again check out the events page.

I myself are going to do a five week flower arranging class, I am a trained florist and very much enjoy working with flowers and teaching people how to arrange flowers, this class starts on Wednesday mornings here at the shop, again please check out our events page for dates.

Hopefully the cold weather will pass and after all the rain that we have had and Spring will give us a bit of hope and warmth, the little snow drops are starting to appear above the ground and down the drive to the farm shop we will see our lovely balls of white tiny flowers, oh how exciting.

Philip, Myself, the Kids, Hannah, Harry and Archie and the Staff at the Farm Shop would like to wish you a very Happy 2016 and look forward to meeting and greeting you at the Shop.
